In downtown Baltimore, a driver got into a fight with squeegee workers. He attacked her with a baseball bat before being shot.

A police spokesman told the Post that as of early Friday morning, no one had been arrested in the ongoing investigation.

The Baltimore Sun said that Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said Reynolds drove his car through the intersection, parked it, and then jumped out with a baseball bat.

In response to him firing his bat, one of the squeegee workers drew a gun. It is not yet clear how many shots were fired at the scene.

Three shots were heard and the police quickly stepped in to help. The fatal fight occurred during rush hour and just before the 7:05 p.m. game between the Baltimore Orioles and the Los Angeles Angels at nearby Oriole Park in Camden Yards. As a result, traffic in the city center was backed up for hours.

Harrison said it was the second time doctor blade workers had been shot at the same busy downtown intersection. He also said that outreach officials from the mayor’s office for the engagement of African American men were at the scene hours before police seized a gun from a doctor blade worker.

The squeegee worker is said to have been arrested by the police before 2 p.m. Scott said in a statement his government will work to find and punish people who use violence on the city’s streets.
