Robert Pann Where is he?

With no solid leads and the victim’s body never found, the investigation progressed slowly and remained unsolved for years. According to her ex-husband Robert Pann, she slept the night at her parents’ house before disappearing. Monique Diederich, the deceased’s closest friend, claimed Pann had proposed to her, but she was turned down by Gray, who then retaliated by threatening to kill her. Witnesses who were last in contact with the victim came forward as the case progressed.

The jeweler the ex bought the ring from came forward and said Bernice had passed away and Pann had come to return it. The shoes he wore at the time were also covered in grass and mud. Robert Pann was tried in 2001 for the alleged murder of his ex-girlfriend Bernice Gray; it is said that he pleaded not guilty. Eventually, after prosecutors presented a convincing case, the defendant was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without a chance of parole.
