Kelly Clayton, a murder victim from El Maris, New York, is the sister of Kim Bourgeois, commonly known as Kinstage. Her younger sister, Kelly Clayton, died in a horrific crime in Caton, New York, in September 2015.

Kim Bourgeois apparently lives with her family in Horseheads, New York. In a lavish home, Kelly raised two young children.

Kim also adopted Kelly’s young son and daughter after her murder and raised them alongside her husband. They were only 7 and 3 years old at the time of the incident.

The children were at home at the time of the incident and the daughter was the only eyewitness. Thomas does not interact with young children.

Kim continued by saying that she wanted to continue because of her children. Children often grieve when they think of their mother, but now they are with their loving relatives who took care of them.

She was an honor student and graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1998. She played on the high school softball and cheerleading teams.

On September 28, 2015, just before midnight, Clayton was killed at her home at 2181 Ginnan Road in the town of Caton.

Thomas Clayton, who was in Corning that night to play regular poker with a friend, called 911 as soon as he got home at 12:30 a.m. in September to report the murder.

Kelly Clayton is married to Thomas Clayton. A native of Binghamton, Thomas is a former NHL hockey player. He played hockey for the Elmira Jackals for four seasons.

Before their marriage, Kelly and Thomas were both professional ice hockey players. Cullen, a son, and Charlie, a daughter, were born to the couple as a blessing.

After retiring, he went on to found the Paul Davis Emergency Services fire and flood recovery business in Southern Tier. Additionally, Clayton eventually took on the role of project manager for Binghamton native and lifelong friend Brian Rain on the comparable franchise ServPro.

Thomas Clayton was suspended shortly thereafter, and by the end of the day the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office had charged him with a second murder after his daughter came forward.
