Sky Germany reports that City are close to finalizing a deal to sign Haaland.
According to the report, the 21-year-old has revealed he wants to leave Dortmund this summer and City are already making progress.
City CEO Ferran Soriano is said to have told Dortmund last week that City are ready to activate the player’s release clause.
Haaland is looking increasingly likely to sign for Man City for less than £70m in the summer.

Haaland has an exit clause that applies to the upcoming transfer window.
The release clause is believed to be €75million (£64.1million) and is detailed as having to be paid in an upfront payment.
Dortmund signed Haaland from RB Salzburg in 2020 on a deal worth €20m (£17m).

Haaland has scored 28 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season, including 21 goals in 23 Bundesliga games. He scored three goals in as many games in the Champions League.
