The magician behind the TikTok account posts illusions daily for his fans to try and work out
A tick tock Star known for stimulating – and confusing – people’s minds Internet user with his amazing optical Ilusion has stunned his followers with his latest video.
The image shared by TikTok user Pasillision appears to be very simple, as it only requires viewers to look at a monochrome image and say a word or words that they see – but of course it’s not at all simple.
So what does the optical illusion show, who is the Tik Tok user behind it and what do you see?
Here’s everything you need to know.
Where is the picture from?
So far the video, posted on Friday July 22nd, has garnered 116 likes and 139 comments – and that number is still growing.
Pasillusion, real name Pete Sciarrino, has 6458 followers and a total of 58.4k likes across all his videos on this account.
His main TikTok account named pasmagic reveals that he is a 19-year-old magician and content creator from San Diego, California.
On his main account, he has 4.6 million followers and 35.6 million “likes”.
Pasillusion is known on the social media platform Tik Tok for dazzling and delighting its many viewers with a variety of illusions and magic tricks on a daily basis.
He describes his channel as “daily illusions and mind games”.
What does the video show?
The magician wore his signature sunglasses and showed his viewers the image of a black and white rectangle.
He then asked people to let him know what they could see, what word or words they could see inside the rectangle in the comments.
The word “Close” is clearly written in capital letters across the rectangle, but according to Sciarrino, some people may also see another word.
He said, “What word do you see in this picture? A lot of people see the word close, but some people can see another hidden word.”
He added: “Let me know what you see in the comments.”
What do Tik Tok users think is the answer?
TikTok users took to the comments section of Pete Sciarrino’s video to share their responses.
One person said they could see the word “almost,” but another argued they could see the word “flare,” and another was confident they could see the word “cap.”
What’s the best way to see the second word?
If you’re having trouble seeing a second word in the picture, it’s best to move further away from the computer, tablet, or phone screen you’re viewing the picture on.
This should make things clearer for you, and a second word should be revealed.
What is the correct answer?
The majority of people who commented on the Tik Tok video seem to be able to see the word “distant” next to the word “close”.
One person asked Sciarrino what the correct answer was, but he has yet to answer.
So we don’t know exactly what word is hidden in this picture just yet – but we think it’s great to find out what different people can see.
