An optical illusion has left viewers confused after they were challenged to find the hidden animal in the image.

TikTok star Hectic Nick claims that only 1% of people can successfully spot the creature lurking in a forest scene.

Posting the illusion, Hectic Nick explains, “Only 1 percent of people can find the hidden elephant in this image.

“It’s not easy, but try turning your phone over and you might be able to find it.”

The image left some viewers baffled as they struggled to locate the elephant in the reversed image, with one user commenting, “It took me ten hours to find this”.

Others quickly spotted the animal lurking in the foreground, using the two large trees for legs and the smaller tree for trunk.

One user wrote: “Saw it without having to turn the page. I guess I’m in the one percent.”

“I saw it, my eye is good,” said another.

A third added: “I saw him, he’s under the picture.”

How many tigers do you see?

The puzzle contains a total of 16 tigers to find, but only four are immediately obvious.

If you take a closer look at the image, you should be able to make out the faces of tigers lurking in the trees, leaves, and rocks surrounding the jungle.

Many viewers found it difficult to pick all 16 and shared their frustration in the comments.

“I don’t know where all the tigers are so I found 4,” said another.

Another illusion that tests the viewer’s perception is the image of a sad-looking man.

For those who can’t see the angry face, it’s recommended to cover part of the image with your finger – on the nose, just below one of the eyes – to get a better look at it.
