More than 12 LIV Players Joining BMW PGA Field

At the BMW PGA Championship the following month, a significant LIV presence is anticipated.

More than 12 players who have joined the rival tour will compete at the circuit's marquee event at Wentworth, according to a list of entries posted on the DP World Tour website.

This group includes European stalwarts Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, and Sergio Garcia.

Thanks to an exemption category that allows the top 60 players in the world.

Abraham Ancer, Kevin Na, Talor Gooch, Patrick Reed, and Jason Kokrak are among the players who have entered the competition, which is set for September 8–11.

Despite being docked six-figure fines, the LIV players are not disqualified from competing under the terms and conditions of the tour.

The PGA Tour, which has suspended all participants who competed in LIV events, does not collaborate with the DP World Tour.

It will be the LIV players' second tournament in as many weeks; the fourth LIV event will take place the following week outside of Boston.

The field for the BMW PGA also includes Matt Fitzpatrick, the U.S. Open champion, Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy, and others.
