The 2000trees Festival has returned, promising another weekend of fantastic music in Gloucestershire.
From July 7th to July 9th the likes of Thrice, Turnstile, Idles and YouMeAtSix will be performing.
The independent music festival is completely sold out.
If you’re headed to Upcote Farm in Withington this weekend, here’s everything you need to know:
How do you set up your cashless wristband?
2000trees has been cashless since 2018, you simply load your RFID wristband with money and use it to pay for food and drinks instead of using cash.
If you have a ticket, you can set up your cashless wristband from July 7th.
2000trees says it has been using Playpass/Weezevent since 2018 and has not had a “single point of failure” since its launch.
There is a charging point in the festival reception tent next to the bracelet purse, but you can also charge your phone anywhere on site where you can access public WiFi
If you have any money left over, you can get it refunded by clicking on a link that 2000trees will send out after the festival.
Be careful not to throw away your bracelet before completing this.

What are the alcohol rules at 2000trees?
On its website, 2000trees says: “As you know, we are an independent, multi-award winning festival and we’re sure you want us to stay that way!?
“However, since we’re not owned by a large company, we rely heavily on people buying a few beers, a few burritos and some merch between the great bands we’ve booked. “So this year we are politely suggesting that only open containers of alcohol be brought into the arenas from the campsites. So yes you can bring what you drink from the campsites to the arenas, but maybe not a backpack full of alcohol???
“That said, we’re not the fun police, so we’re not really going to enforce that… More of a polite question than anything.”
What food is offered at 2000trees?
On its website, 2000trees says: “At 2000trees we are crazy about good food and we pride ourselves on serving up some of the best festival food every summer.
“This year you’ll be glad to hear that we’re offering our best selection ever, with a handpicked and diverse selection of our favorite restaurants.
“It is very important to us that you have a choice of delicious, affordable and sustainably sourced food served by independent traders. Get some energy and your tummies fed for your weekend at 2000trees!
“We cater to all your dietary needs – including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available throughout the weekend so there should be something for everyone.”
