The vote took place tonight (18 July) with MPs voting on whether they still have faith in the Conservative majority in Parliament.

The motion passed with 349 votes in favor of the government and 238 against.

A no-confidence vote was announced after the soon-to-be-resigned Prime Minister Boris Johnson surprisingly introduced the motion.
