Sir Alex Ferguson was recently spotted arriving at Manchester United’s training base amid reports that the sporting legend and Bryan Robson are being called in to persuade Ronaldo to stay.

The Portugal captain returned to team training on Tuesday and was present at Wednesday’s closed-door game against Wrexham.
