With over 47,000 spectators, it is the largest football stadium in the former GDR and was officially opened in 2004.

Not only is it the home stadium of RB Leipzig, but also the venue for international football matches of the German men’s team as well as music concerts for the likes of Tina Turner, Paul McCartney and Coldplay.

Diogo Jota is absent from Liverpool’s pre-season warm-up games while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to miss Thursday’s game with a leg problem.
