A newborn baby has been found dead at home in Swindon.

Wiltshire Police officers were arrested in the early hours of Monday morning (January 1st).

An investigation into the child’s death has now been launched.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called by ambulance services in the early hours of Monday morning to a report of the death of a newborn baby at an address in Grange Park.

“Investigations are ongoing and the death is being treated as unsolved at this time.”

Forestry teams have remained on the property, and there is also a crime scene.
