Louis Tomlinson is closing in on the hosts of Australian talk show ‘The Project’ – as they try to discuss the drama within ‘One Direction’.
During the show, presenters Peter Helliar and Carrie Bickmore polled Tomlinson with questions about former bandmate Liam Payne’s comments on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Liam spoke candidly on the podcast about his strained relationships within the group and other notorious moments.
When asked about the “beef” in the group, Louis accused the host of “stirring things up” and “fishing” for a juicy reply.
Louis, who is currently in Australia to perform as part of his world tour, went on to admit that he is very proud of his time with the group and has amazing memories.
Tomlinson, 30, is a Doncaster-born singer and songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after appearing on British talent show The X Factor.
After being eliminated as a solo artist, he was grouped with four others to form One Direction.
The group placed third in the competition but went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
In 2016, following the departure of band member Zayn Malik, the group decided to take a break – to pursue solo projects.
Tomlinson has collaborated with many other artists, releasing singles such as “Just Hold On” with American DJ Steve Aoki (2016) and “Back to You” with Bebe Rexha (2017).
He released his debut solo album Walls in January 2020 and has released five singles from the album including Don’t Let It Break Your Heart, Walls and We Made It.
Tomlinson began an on-and-off relationship with model Eleanor Calder in November 2011. The couple went on hiatus between March 2015 and early 2017.
During this time, Louis dated American actress Danielle Campbell from November 2015 to December 2016 and welcomed a son, Freddie Reign, in January 2016 with his ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth.
Tomlinson and Calder then reconciled in 2017 and are currently still together.
One Direction is said to have a combined net worth of $340million, which is just over £283million.
Louis Tomlinson has a reported net worth of $70 million, which translates to nearly £60 million in pounds.
This stems mainly from his time in the world famous boy band and solo projects as well as his debut solo album Walls released in 2020.
Tomlinson was scheduled to tour for most of 2020 but has had to reschedule every date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He then announced the replacement dates for 2021 and then again for 2022 – which most likely cost him millions.
As well as music, Louis also got back to where it all started in 2018 when he took on the role of judge on The X Factor, reportedly earning him £4million.
