Oklahoma drive-thru worker arrested after ordering METH for someone

A customer in Skiatook, Oklahoma got a little more than what he ordered from a fast food restaurant this week!

Corresponding fox 23an unknown man had gone to their place Carls Jr. Earlier this week and grabbed some food at the drive-thru before sitting down elsewhere and video-calling his girlfriend. But when the guy opened his food order, he found an unexpected item in it – a small bag full of meth! Yes, you’ve read that correctly!

The man wasn’t exactly sure what the substance was at the time, but suspected it was methamphetamine. Luckily he didn’t eat any of it! Instead, he quickly snapped photos of the drugs, reported them to the manager on duty, who got him a new meal order, and then took the pictures to the police. That Skiatake Police Department explained in a statement Facebook:

“A person placed an order at the restaurant and when she received her order, she found a small bag of drugs in her bag. Officers learned the baggy contained a crystalline substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine in the field.”

When police arrived at the scene, they immediately spoke to staff. They were soon arrested BryceFrancisa facility employee, for dispensing a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities in Skiatook have warned everyone, saying:

“When you go out to eat, please check the food, especially before consuming it or giving it to a child. If you come across anything like the one described in this incident, please contact us immediately!”

They also couldn’t help but try to make a joke of the whole situation in the Facebook post’s comments, informing whoever the drive-thru drug order was for where to pick it up:

“We’d also like to add … whether you’re the person who was SUPPOSE [sic] To receive this order, he is waiting for you at the Skiatook Police Department. Just stop by!“
