An interview with the Minister of Culture Nadine Dorries on heaven The news was interrupted by an off-air dispute involving the cameraman who filmed it.
The incident happened when Sky presenter Kay Burley was questioning him MP Live on Air this morning (Thursday 28 July).

What happened during the Sky News interview?
Nadine Dorries was live on Sky News talking to presenter Kay Burley about the Commonwealth Games starting in Birmingham today when she got distracted by some off-air.
Viewers were initially confused when Dorries suddenly said she had to stop the interview.
She said: “I’m sorry Kay, the government…I’m afraid we have to go now.”
Kay asked why and Dorries replied “the cameraman is in trouble”.
A man was then heard shouting off camera, “Touch me then? You can’t because they will arrest you for assault.”
In an attempt to defuse the situation, Dorries said, “He’s not touching you.”
The unidentified man replied: “He cannot touch me, madam, what do you mean he cannot touch me?
“He can’t, I’ll have him arrested in five seconds.”
The interview continued to be broadcast when Dorries turned away from the camera to ask for security to get involved.
Dorries then turned back to the cameras and told viewers, “The cameraman didn’t touch him.”
The unidentified man could still be heard screaming about being touched and calling the police in the background, and Dorries asked the cameraman if he was okay.
His answer was not heard.
Dorries then whispered to someone she was dating to ask if she should move away from the camera, and Burley ended the interview.

She said: “An eventful start to today’s media round but I’m so pleased to be here in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games and to see the amazing impact the Government’s £600million investment is having on the city and the community region had.
“Fantastic atmosphere – I can’t wait for the opening ceremony tonight!”

Nadine Dorries, whose full name is Nadine Vanessa Dorries, is Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
She has been in office since 2021.
