Each Moneybags game takes place over a week, with ten participants featured at the start of each week.

£1 million is then divided into 100 bags of money with values between £1,000 and £100,000 in each bag.

20 pouches will be randomly selected each day, with those pouches not being in play for the rest of the week.

The first three rounds are head-to-head – two contestants are chosen to play and stand next to a conveyor belt where the moneybags will sail past.

A category is announced, and each bad money has a different answer to it. Players each choose a bag they believe contains the correct answer

The contestant who chooses the correct answer will have the cash value of their purse added to their balance – while incorrect answers will result in the contestant being eliminated from the next round.

The value of bags not taken is discarded, potentially costing players hundreds of thousands of pounds.

There are 30 episodes of Moneybags in Season 2

Some money bags are special – these are steal, giveaway and bankruptcy bags.

If a contestant picks a stolen witch and has the correct answer, they can take the highest value bag won by their opponent.

If a competitor selects a giveaway bag and guesses the wrong answer, they must pass the highest value bag they won to their opponent.

And if a contestant takes a bankrupt bag and has the wrong answer, their bank resets to zero.

At the end of the five rounds, the contestant with the most account advances to the next level while the other contestant is eliminated and left with nothing.

The next round is the tripleheader – the winners of the three head-to-head races compete for another five rounds of the conveyor belt using the same rules as before.

The winner of the triple header advances to the final where he can win whatever he won on his bench.

You will be given a different category and two bags will come down the conveyor – one is a correct answer and the other is wrong. If you guess right, you win 10% of your bank, if wrong, you walk away with nothing.

This is repeated 3 more times, increasing the win value to 20%, 50% and 100%. After the first round, they have the option to let both sacks pass, ending the game and taking home the percentage won up to that point.
