Who is Michael Owen?
He was born on December 14, 1979 in Chester, Cheshire to mother Jeanette and father Terry, who was also a professional footballer and played for clubs including Chester City and Everton.
Owned signed a professional contract with Liverpool aged 17 and scored in his Liverpool debut in a game against Liverpool on 6 May 1997 Wimbledon in Selhurst Park.
Owen is the sixth-highest goalscorer of all time for the England team and England’s second-highest goalscorer in competitive international matches behind players such as Wayne Rooney. He played for England in 1998, 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups and the 2000 and 2004 Uefa European Championships.
In 2013, Owen announced he was retiring from football when he said: “It is with great pride that I announce my intention to retire.”
He added, “I’ve been extremely fortunate in that my career has taken me on a journey I could only have dreamed of.”
Since his retirement, Owen has appeared regularly as a sports pundit and commentator. He has also been involved in breeding and owning racehorses.
Owen met his future wife, Louise Bosnall, in elementary school in 1984. The couple became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2004 and married on June 24, 2005.
Before their wedding, the couple welcomed daughter Gemma Rose on May 1, 2003. They had their son James Michael on February 6, 2006, their third child Emily May on October 29, 2007, and their fourth child Jessica on October 29, 2007, on February 26, 2010.

Gemma Owen is Owen’s daughter and one of the original cast members for the new season of island of love 2022.
Gemma is 19 years old and an international dressage rider who has competed in the field for Great Britain since she was 11.
She’s also a business owner, having launched her brand OG Beachwear earlier this year.
When it comes to relationships, Gemma said: “I will always do what I want.
“But at the same time, I’m not going to screw anything up for anyone who’s in a real relationship or stand in the way of a couple when they have a real connection.

Following the first episode of the new season, which aired on Monday night (6 June), reactions to Gemma’s presence at the villa were mixed, with some viewers branding her “rude” after some awkward interactions with the other islanders.
At one point, Gemma Luca said his surname Bish was “unlucky”.
Others have also dubbed Gemma as the new Marcel Somerville, who shared numerous times in Season 3 with his fellow Islanders that he used to be in Blazin’ Squad.
However, when Gemma shared her last name with the boys in a chat during the episode, no one seemed to really reconnect with her famous footballer dad.

However, Owen himself has not commented on his daughter’s involvement in the new season of the ITV show when speaking to him Daily MailGemma said her father wasn’t exactly “thrilled” with her participation.
However, he told her, “I’m not going to tell you what to do.”
She said: “He’s very supportive of whatever I decide to do. He didn’t have a massive tantrum or anything like that. He’s pretty cool, trusting me not to do anything that might embarrass him.
“He took it quite well.”
