Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore arrives to break the mood at the VIP party with the public vote result (ITV).

Undoubtedly one of the most popular TV shows this summer, Love Island runs for eight weeks from June to August.

The likes of Gordon Smart and Nick Bright hosted Sunday morning’s hour-long show in their absence.

With Love Island’s current series ending in August, the 37-year-old will not be returning to her BBC appearances like in previous years.

While it’s not known why she’s quitting, Whitmore posted on Instagram four days ago that she’s “received some very exciting news” and that it’s “going to be a busy year.”

Her reason for leaving BBC Radio 5 could also be due to her huge success on Love Island.

Your money: The sun reported that Whitmore will be paid £600,000 per season – despite not appearing in every episode.

She is believed to have a net worth of £12million Daily Star.

Your career: Whitmore hosted I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! on ITV2 for five years from 2011 to 2016. This was the spin-off show that aired immediately after I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! .

The mother-of-one also hosted the reality show Survival of the Fittest in 2017, but it was canceled after just one season.

Her Love Island career began in 2020 when she began presenting the show and its spinoff series Love Island: Aftersun following the tragic death of Caroline Flack.

Your Relationships: Whitmore married 34-year-old Scottish presenter Iain Stirling in 2020 – after meeting in 2017.

Stirling has done the voiceover on Love Island – and has done so since the show began in 2015.

The couple have a daughter named Stevie Ré who was born in March 2021.

They also host a true crime podcast on Spotify called Partners in Crime.
