ITV’s new La Liga deal

ITV has added La Liga action to its growing football coverage.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that ITV will show 10 La Liga games per season on ITV 1, ITV 4 and ITV Hub.

The agreement will initially last for three seasons, with 10 games shown each season.

The first game to be shown is Barcelona’s clash with Real Sociedad on Sunday 21 August at 9pm.

ITV sporting director Niall Sloane said of the agreement: “This agreement ensures all football fans free coverage of one of the most entertaining leagues in the world.

“The deal with Premier Sports gives fans the opportunity to see some of the most famous clubs and world-class players in action live on ITV.”
