In England’s most recent game, Tammy Beaumont showed the ECB selectors what they will be missing at the Commonwealth Games as she smashed 119 balls from 107 for a score of 371 – an inning that proved too many for her opponent.

Emma Lamb and Heather Knight both contributed to the powerful result and despite the efforts of Chloe Tryon, Marizanne Kapp and Laura Wolvaardt, England finished to an impressive 3-0 win.

Lamb became a player in the series for her efforts in the last three games, scoring 144 runs overall. Heather Knight is hoping the momentum of such a win can translate into the shortest cricket format as they prepare to face Sune Luu’s and her squad once more.
