In his video, Mosseri addresses the move to video content, with backlash in comments from influencers like Chrissy Teigen who responded to the video chirp say “we don’t want to do videos adam lol”.

The Kardashians have also publicly opposed the update, with Kylie and Kim sharing the “Make Instagram Instagram Again” post with their followers.

Makeup influencer James Charles commented on Mosseri’s Instagram post of the video, saying, “The reason videos are growing so much is because we’re forced to post videos.
