Several hardware announcements could be made during this year’s presentation and rumors are circulating about Google’s pixel clockthe company’s first wearable.

Google has long been rumored to be producing its own smartwatch, but 2022 could be the year it finally happens as the watch was recently unveiled thanks to a filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Also recently, an alleged prototype of the wristwatch was discovered abandoned in a restaurant, prompting a flood of photos to be posted online.

The Pixel Watch appears to have a slim rounded case, rotating crown and almost no bezels, similar to the Apple Watch design but with a circular screen.

The smartwatch also features easily interchangeable straps that allow you to personalize your style.

A mid-range version of last year Pixel 6 smartphone is also expected; Google has released a cheaper version of each of its flagship Pixel smartphones over the past three years.

While previous affordable Pixels retained high-end camera technology while using fewer technical specs, Google could take the opposite approach with the 6a.

The 6.2-inch phone will appear to use the same fast Tensor chip as the Pixel 6, but will instead use the 5a’s 12-megapixel main rear camera instead of the Pixel 6’s more advanced 50-megapixel sensor.

According to a recent rumor, Google is also working on a new pair of truly wireless earbuds called the Pixel Buds Pro.

While nothing is known about their specs, the word “Pro” in a pair of headphones’ names usually indicates that they offer active noise cancellation, which would be a first for a pair of Google wireless earbuds.

In terms of software announcements, Google’s operating systems like the highly anticipated ones Android 13expected to launch later this year will likely lead the announcements.

Android 13 was technically already launched in beta, which gives us a glimpse of Google’s ambitions for the update, and while there haven’t been many indications of what major changes are ahead, Google has so far settled on minor UI improvements and Technology concentrated upgrades under the hood.

Last year’s Material You customizable themes will likely expand to cover more UI elements in the operating system, and Google continues to limit what features Android apps can access by default.

Other platforms like Wear OS or Android TV could also see new features announced, and Google is expected to announce updates to its core services, including Google Maps, Google’s search engine, YouTube and Google Play.
