In the clip, a man and his girlfriend are queuing on a platform Disneyland Paris in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Just like every girl dreams of a day, her guy gets on one knee and pulls an engagement ring out of his pocket. But it wouldn’t be a Disney movie without a villain — and they met there when a Disneyland staffer ran through the romantic moment, literally just as she was about to say yes!

Without saying a word, the clerk rushed in, snatched the engagement ring from the man’s hand, and showed them the exit. Very confused, the couple followed him down a flight of stairs from the platform. The disgruntled friend then explained that another employee allowed him to use the stage, but the employee didn’t want it, and instructed her to make the suggestion offstage. And yet… by this point the mood was already ruined. Pooh!

Online viewers slammed the clerk for the rude disruption and his “smug” attitude, saying:

“You’re telling me the clerk couldn’t wait another minute…that ring hold was so unnecessary”

“Oh please, he could have pretended to be busy with other visitors for 10 more seconds. It wasn’t his job to rip that ring off that guy’s hand.”

“The French are rude? Who would have thought that”

“A marriage proposal only takes 5 seconds, please would I piss off the staff like that “

Because of all the backlash, a Disney spokesman said news week:

“We regret how this was handled. We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make things right.”

Let’s hope they make it a magical Disney wedding! LOLz!

Can you believe how that went? Why do you think the pair were pushed off the stage when they supposedly got permission from someone else? Maybe only the people who pay the big bucks get their marriage proposal in front of the castle? Let us know your reactions (below)!
