“Prayer works,” he shared. “I will pray for you all, pray for me, let’s pray for each other.”
Reflecting on his childhood, Diddy recalled visions that inspired him to reach for the stars. “I just closed my eyes and dreamed and saw what I had to do,” he said. “I knew I had to work hard.”
He continued, “I had to focus, man. I had to lock myself in because life matters. And we’re not just here for ourselves, we’re here for our ancestors, feel me?
The artist then revealed his “new dream” for the future.
“I have this dream that we will unite. Don’t just talk for us on stage,” he explained. “We know our community and our allies. When you’re with us, don’t be solid. Put some money into the game, put some combat into the game. I have this dream, you know what I’m saying? For us be free.”
Concluding his speech, Diddy announced that he plans to donate $1 million to his alma mater, Howard University, and $1 million to a football coach Deion Sander and Jackson State University “because he should play for us.”
“Thank you all from the bottom of my heart,” Diddy shared. “I love you all. Peace.”
