The English capital will once again host the British Basketball Play-Offs, one of the biggest sporting events of the year, this weekend.

The Finals see the top two teams in Britain’s elite men’s and women’s basketball league battle it out for one of basketball’s most prestigious trophies.

The highly anticipated final is expected to draw up to 15,000 fans as some of the country’s best basketball players compete alongside plenty of courtside entertainment with music and cheerleaders.

The Play-Off Finals will take place this weekend on Sunday 15th May 2022.

The 02 in London will host the final.

How to get tickets

Tickets are available on the axs website, with a limit of six tickets per cardholder.

There are four different seating areas to choose from – Pepsi Max Deck, The Lounge, The Terrace and Virgin Money M Club.

Tickets range from £125 for pitchside seats to £24 for Band C seats, while child tickets are as cheap as £18.

Who is in the final?

The London Lions secured their place in the BBL play-off final at the weekend after an incredible performance in the fourth quarter against Bristol Flyers.

They lost the title in the play-off final last year after losing to Newcastle Eagles.

The Lions meet Leicester Riders who held a convincing aggregate win over Glasgow Rocks on Monday night.

Meanwhile, the Lions women’s team has also reached the play-off final and meets Sevenoaks Suns.
