Arcade Fire have announced plans for a world tour to accompany their new album WE.

After one-off shows in New Orleans, New York, Coachella and London ahead of the album’s release, the band will embark on an extended tour in September.

The band released WE, their sixth studio album, on Friday May 6th.

The tour kicks off in Dublin on August 30th and will take the band across the UK and Europe in September 2022.

Special guest Feist will join the band for their UK and European concerts, while Beck will perform acoustic sets with them across North America.

We can only begin to speculate as to what the band might play at the above live dates. But no doubt they’ll be broadcasting selected excerpts from their latest record live, as well as the biggest hits from their back catalogue.

The band played a special one-off show in April, the inaugural concert of the refurbished Koko venue in London after a three-year £70million redevelopment delayed by a roof fire and the pandemic.

The 50,000 square foot multipurpose space features live streaming facilities, a radio station, shop, late night pizzeria and bar with intimate live performances.

How can I get tickets?

All tour dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 13th at 10:00am local time. They will be available through ticketmaster.

The band have teamed up with social and environmental justice non-profit organization PLUS to ensure £1 from every ticket sale goes to KANPE, a non-profit dedicated to helping Haiti’s most vulnerable population.

Arcade Fire co-founder Régine Chassagne is of Haitian descent, and the band often works to raise awareness of the beleaguered country’s past and present challenges.
